Welcome to our School

The Salvation Army Mbajo Secondary School is a full day mixed school offering education in western Kenya. It was established in 2016 by the local community to serve boys and girls who finished primary education. The school offers a 4 year certificate course upon whose completion the learners join university to pursue career courses to get degrees, diplomas and certificates. The school is located in a serene environment conducive for educational endeavors. The GOK sent the first principal Ms Edith Llande in 2019. The objective of the school is to strive to meet some of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), like: Quality Education, Gender Equality and Good Health. This is done through Education for Sustainable Development. This can't be achieved with the lack of infrastructure that prevails as government funding for the school late in coming. The school has 275 students in 2019. 150 girls and 125 boys from needy families.
